Join us every Wednesday afternoon from 4-6pm and every Saturday morning from 9am to 2pm (unless otherwise posted) to work with our Director of Permaculture, Paul Mays, in the SixTwelve community garden. Through volunteering, people gain access to knowledge in various areas relating to sustainable urban farming, such as garden design, raising food and small animals, composting and more. Garden volunteers also provide a valuable community service and will often have the opportunity to take home food in exchange for their work.
We welcome people of all ages, but childcare is not provided unless otherwise posted. We, however, love children at SixTwelve so if they are old enough to pull weeds and grass out of the earth, we would love for them to come too.
