Director of Early Childhood Education
We are seeking a Director of Early Childhood for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. We will be accepting applications through July 16th and we will be interviewing July 18th through July 27th. Minimum Requirements for application:
*At least a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
*At least three years experience in the classroom
*Availability from 8am to 2:30pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, September through May
*Background Checks will be conducted if selected
*Teamwork attitude: We work as a team on most events and programs, must be available some weekends
* Preference will be given to educators with experience teaching Waldorf, Green School, sustainability, etc. and arts focused activities.

Reports to: Amy Young, Co Founder and Executive Director
Start Dates: August 7th for preparation, September 5th for programming
Regular hours are:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am to 2:30pm
Responsibilities include: Planning the year’s curriculum, teaching the class of no more than 10 students daily, leading and collaborating with the SixTwelve staff who will assist you, evaluating students needs, establishing extra challenges for students who are ahead of the rest of the class (we are a mixed age class - 3 to 5 years old), planning field trips, communicating with parents, assisting with Date Night Drop In once per month, and working as a team on events periodically.
Payment is hourly, $30/hour, Regularly 20-25 hours/week
