Jun Iida is an award-winning trumpeter, composer, and educator whose work bridges jazz, contemporary music, and cross-cultural collaboration. Based in Brooklyn, NY, he has performed internationally at leading venues and festivals across the United States, Japan, and China, earning recognition for his dynamic sound and stylistic versatility. As a bandleader of the Jun Iida Group and an active collaborator with acclaimed artists, Iida’s music blends modern jazz with Japanese and Japanese American influences, reflecting his bicultural perspective.
