The artwork selected will need to express excep- tional creativity and ingenuity in the reworking of materials and items that would be consid- ered waste. This event is being held in celebration of America Recycles Day on November 15th, 2015. America Recycles Day (ARD) is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting recycling programs in the United States.

OKC Beautiful retains their mission through programs that advocate beautification efforts, educate the public on the environment, create awareness of city ordinances, and improve public lands. Through programs such as Adopt-A-Park, LandScapes, LitterBlitz, Mother Earth and Wildflowers, OKC Beautiful provides a clean and beautiful city. We believe the improved appearance for our city directly impacts its economic viability as well as affect- ing the quality of life and self-image of its residents.
