SixTwelve, deadCENTER Film Festival, and Transition OKC invite you to join us for Growing Community, a Film, Food and Fun series on the SixTwelve lawn in Oklahoma City's refreshingly creative Paseo Arts District. 

This is the first of what we hope will become a regular ongoing series of potluck picnics and dinners and engaging films -- dinner and a movie with a focus on inspiring dialogue and action for growing community resilience, sustainability, health and wellness. 

FESTIVITIES INCLUDE
* A Zero Waste potluck picnic 
* Tabling event for community organizations inside SixTwelve's beautifully renovated building 
* Screening of Course of Food, a 17-minute film that won Best Oklahoma Short Film at the 2015 DeadCenter Film Festival 
* Screening of Growing Cities, a powerful award-winning documentary that examines the inspiring role of urban farming in America and its potential to revitalize our cities and the way we eat 
* Meet up with old friends
* Make new friends 

WHAT TO BRING 
* Favorite covered dish 
* Favorite beverage 
* Reusable plates, eating utensils, cups or glasses 
* Camp chairs, blankets, quilts for picnicking on the lawn

COST
While this event is free, we ask that you consider making a donation to help us cover the costs of this event and provide seed funds for future similar events. Suggested donation is $5 per person.
