Oklahoma Found: A Litte Shindig to Celebrate All Things Okie

Join us Thursday, September 24th from 6-9pm in the Paseo Arts District for an Oklahoma Extravaganza! Presented in conjunction with Neighbor’s Night Out and the closing reception for Shel Wagner’s “Oklahoma Found” exhibition at The Project Box, the shindig starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Project Box on Paseo Drive.

The celebrate continues at 7:00pm by singing only songs about our great state! (All songs either have the word “Oklahoma” in lyrics or titles.) Jack Fowler will emcee the competition and Okie tunes will be provided by Jaseon Headen. Prizes include passes and ride tickets to the Oklahoma State Fair. The stealing of songs is permitted for a price and extra points are given for costumes! A $5 donation for entry is appreciated by all participants. Proceeds go to SixTwelve.

Anthem Beer has graciously agreed to donate beer to the SixTwelve event and tasty Oklahoma treats will be served up by Katiebug's Shaved Ice and Hot Chocolate, too!
