In this hands-on workshop you will discover the benefits of fermenting your vegetables and how easy it can be to make. You will learn a little bit of microbiology, the safety of fermenting, different types of ferments and their benefits to your health. Then, we will make a jar of salsa together for you to take home and ferment.

Dr. April Morford is a local Chiropractor and BioEnergetic Practitioner with a passion for helping people understand nutrition with whole food, breathing and movement for physical, mental and emotional well-being. She has taught at local colleges to health professionals in the subjects of anatomy, physiology, microbiology and nutrition for six years.
