Herb Walk: Herbal Identification and Basic Healing Practices

In this session we will enter into the world of herbal healing by using all of our senses to identify different medicinal plants on an Herb Walk through the garden, start our own herbarium, learn the healing properties and how to use a variety of herbs that surround us.

$30 for non-members, $15 for members.

Stephanie Holiman is an herbalist, organic gardener, and permaculture designer. "I have developed a passion for herbal medicine and all the experiences that surround working with and creating your own health and vitality; how we nourish ourselves, what choices we make about our lives, and taking a fierce stance for healing ourselves when things go awry. I have learned to grow, care for, harvest, and dry my own herbs and wildcraft others everywhere I go. I have learned to read the messages of the herbs that voluntarily spring up in my garden. In the past 10 years of working with herbs I have made my own tinctures, oils, salves, syrups, and herbal infusions to care of all of my health needs and those of my husband and our 4 year old son.

I am here to teach, coach, and guide others in gardening, plant medicine, and the inward journey towards healing themselves."
