Amy Heaton-Townsend had her first child in 2006 and began a journey to keep her family healthy and save money. Her search led her to natural ways to nurture her family for ailments such as ear aches, coughs, and sore throats. Discovering herbs was the answer for her, and she has been studying and using both formally and informally since 2006. Currently, she is enrolled in the Clinical Herbal Training program with Eclectic School of Herbalism, and working towards becoming a registered herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild. Becoming an herbalist has been a life long journey that Amy is committed and called to do. Her passion is to use her knowledge of plants and love of working with families to connect people with plants that balance and nurture their bodies, minds, and souls.
