Facing the BIG Together Through Art (Doors open at 5:15pm)

Oftentimes, as parents, it can be as easy as figuring out a Rubik's cube to understand exactly how our kids are feeling! It can be even more challenging to figure out how to create moments that all together foster creativity, fun, and discussion. Join us for this delightful workshop as mother/daughter duo Brittany & Soledad Elizabeth Couch lead parents and their kids through activities that foster arts expression, mindfulness and emotional wellness.

Brittany is our current SixTwelve resident, an OKC native, visual artist, youth mental health advocate and education innovator. Her mission is “Giving kids the tools to bridge education, wellness and the arts” and we are honored to have her working with our after school program students this month.

Art supplies, beautiful scenery and grass provided. Please bring a blanket to get comfortable and water bottles for your refreshment!

This workshop is FREE and most appropriate for children ages 6-12yrs old and older children with intellectual/developmental differences. NO REGISTRATION IS NEEDED BUT ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. This is not childcare. Masks will be required to enter the building but the workshop will take place outside on the lawn.
