Lead singer Hannah Edmondson was on a twenty-six year long quest to find four men with facial hair to play music with. She finally stumbled on her men in the fall of 2022. She called it, "Coat." Coat (aka Hannah and the men) write, record, and play music out of Oklahoma City. They are current 612 recording artist residents.

Lover Girl is a grunge-inspired band with a unique blend of blues, funk, and alternative rock influences. Formed in Oklahoma City in 2024, the band has quickly made a name for itself with its energetic sound, driven by catchy rhythms, powerful melodies, and a raw, unapologetic attitude.
